Eva Amelynck, born in 1985, studied civil engineering architecture at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. She worked as a civil engineer architect in various design firms and had her own design practice. She also served as a design mentor at the Faculty of Engineering Sciences - Architecture. Since 2011, she has been a project manager at the Flemish Government Architect Team, where she supports and guides public clients in public and public-private projects related to the design and realization of buildings, public spaces, landscapes, and infrastructure.
